Sayyad Mohamed Husaini Ashraf
Hazrat Sayyad Mohamed Husaini Ashraf was born on 12th August 1985 in the revered family of Ashrafia (Family of Hazrat Makhdoom Ashraf Jahangir Simnani). His father is the renowned Sheikh-e-Tariqat Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf, his grandfather was Majzoob-e-ilaahi Hazrat Syed Muhamid Ashraf and his great grandfather was the greatest Muhaddith and scholar of his time Hazrat Muhaddith-e-Azam-e-Hind Kichauchhvi. Hazrat Sayyad Husaini Ashraf is the 29th descendant of Ghauth-e-Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani and 39thdescendant of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
He started his schooling at Amtuls Public school (Nainital, India) and then left for the UK enrolling in Hijaz College Islamic University for further studies at the age of 10. He successfully completed his GSCEs and A-levels and graduated as an Alim (Islamic Scholar) in 2005. He enrolled at the University of Birmingham to further his studies by undertaking a BA Honours in Islamic Studies and then completed his MA in Islamic Studies with University of Gloucestershire achieving distinction. He also travelled to Egypt in 2012 to further enhance his expertise in language and theology.
He has been accompanying his illustrious father since 2005 on spiritual tours and has been actively working for Spiritual Foundation in the UK and around the World. In a short period of time he has tirelessly worked towards establishing Jamia Sufiya in Leicester (UK) and has gained enormous popularity for his oratory skills (in English and Urdu) in India and abroad, especially amongst youngsters. With constant travelling (spiritual tours) and other important tasks, he is also currently authoring books and articles on Islamic subjects.
